An article over at The Huffington Post almost sounds too good to be true. Elisha Goldstein, Ph.D., explains how he helped a patient get over their insomnia by following two simple steps. We’ll share them below.
Step One: Unplug. No technology after 9pm.
Step Two: Integrate ‘mindfulness’ into your sleep routine by performing the mental body scan.
Apparently, by following these two steps, the patient in question was able to sleep far better than before.
We’ve mentioned technology interfering with sleep on a number of occasions so unplugging after 9pm makes a lot of sense and is relatively easy to do. However, focusing the mind is often easier said than done.
