We just finished reading another great post from the Opinionator Blog over at NY Times. The author of the latest article writes about her journey around Ireland in search of an insomnia cure. It turns out she found it – in County Sligo.
Unfortunately the author doesn’t know the exact reason for her blissful night of sleep – after all, the room she stayed in was decorated with ’sinister family portraits’ and animal heads, the bed was too soft and the room was too cold.
That being said, a full night’s sleep arrived – but the mystery remains. Why is insomnia terrified of County Sligo? Any Irish readers out there care to let us in on the secret?!
