We’re all for insomnia cures that don’t rely on drugs so we’re excited to share this one. Apparently, facial reflexology is becoming an increasingly popular treatment option for insomniacs – but only if the insomnia is stress-related.
According to Chinese medicine, our energy flows through our bodies via twelve invisible meridians. If one of these is blocked, imbalances occur. It’s these imbalances that can lead to conditions such as aches, pains and insomnia.
We’d never advocate reflexology over traditional medicine – we’re not doctors. However, if you’re looking for a natural insomnia cure, surely there’s no harm in giving facial reflexology a try?

Happy to see you recommending reflexology for insomnia, but don’t limit the options to just facial reflexology! Reflexology on the feet or on the hands can also be effective. As a reflexologist I prefer to work on the feet because the reflexes are larger and easier to reach. I’ve helped many clients overcome insomnia with foot reflexology.
