Back in December 2009, we told you that your chaotic bedroom could be the cause of your insomnia. Now, a survey released by the National Sleep Foundation largely agrees.
The survey found that people sleep much better when their bedrooms are comfortable and clean. Those that made their bed every day or almost every day were 19% more likely to get a good night’s sleep. Around 75% of respondents said they got a more comfortable night’s sleep when their sheets had a fresh scent.
So there you have it. All you need to do to cure your insomnia is make your bed and keep the sheets clean. You don’t even need to run the vacuum cleaner.
