Yoga poses for insomnia relief

I definitely think that yoga can help relieve insomnia symptoms in some people. 

From time to time I even share some yoga poses right here on the blog.

Today I want to share some more.

If you've never given yoga a try, you really don't have anything to lose by giving it a chance.

Forward bend - Uttanasana can help relieve tension in the legs, back and shoulders.

Wide-Legged Forward Bend - Prasarita Padottansana calms the brain and stretches the spine.

Child Pose - Balasana relieves fatigue and anxiety.

Seated Forward Bend - Paschimottanasana is supposed to be particularly effective at relieving insomnia and anxiety.

Plow - Halasana helps relieve stress and anxiety.

Supine Spinal Twist - Supta Matsyaendrasana relaxes the back and spine and is said to relieve insomnia.

Shoulder Stand - Sarvangasana reduces fatigue and promotes relaxation.
