I was in BevMo, and stumbled across Mary Jane's Relaxing Soda: don't recall the price.
5mg sodium, but 39g sugars!
Ingredients: Water, cane sugar, Passionflower extract, Caramel color, Kava extract, Phosporic acid, Citric Acid, Natural Flavor. So, usually extracts are alcohol based--not sure about these particular extracts. One finds phosporic acid in most colas.

There is statement about only having two (12 oz) bottles a day.

I haven't opened it yet. In the same trip, I bought Fentiman's Victorian Lemonade, which had some fermented ginger in it, and some herb whose name escapes me right now, but I only managed a few sips before I put it aside--just tasted wrong. I've had lemon/ginger combos before that were just fine, and Fentiman's Ginger Ale is pleasant.

Mary Jane's soda website (now there's a tea, too) is quite flaky right now. None of the pages I tried loaded properly the first time, and some of the lins were simply broken. Too bad--I wanted some information about the products.
