Your bad habits are to blame for your insomnia

18 December 2009 in insomnia causes

We’ve lost count of the number of insomnia cures and tips we’ve read. However, a recent article from The Spectrum piqued our interest. In the article, a sleep medicine specialist (fancy title!) claims that many of the factors that may contribute to insufficient sleep stem from the society we live in.

Apparently, we’re developing bad habits – in effect, we are to blame for our insomnia. Dr Pearson points his finger at staying up too late and trying to fit too many things into our days.

This got us thinking – is modern society really to blame for insomnia? We’d love to hear your thoughts on this.
