A morbid headline, but one I felt was worth using.
Apparently, those who sleep less than 6 hours per night are 12% more likely to die prematurely than those who get 6 to 8 hours.
This wasn't a small study, either. More than 1.3 million participants were followed for up to 25 years.
We need to stop ignoring insomnia. It's a serious issue for millions of people. It can destroy lives. There needs to be more research, more understanding and more support for insomnia sufferers.
