Insomnia makes you look ugly and unhealthy

We had to share this one - a Swedish study has found that people deprived of sleep appear less attractive and more unhealthy than those who are well rested.

The researchers came to this conclusion by photographing volunteers after 8 hours of sleep and again after being kept awake for 31 hours. Untrained observers were then asked to 'rate' the faces of each volunteer.

Of course, this was all very subjective and not particularly scientific but if you want to look your best, it sounds as though you should skip all those expensive ointments and potions and instead focus on finding a cure for your insomnia.
