I've shared tips on foods that may help you sleep a few times in the past.
Today, I want to share a few new ones with you - more specifically, I want to talk about late night snacks that may help promote sleep.
According to experts, foods high in carbohydrates and low in protein make the best evening snacks for insomniacs since they help boost the sleep inducing chemicals tryptophan and serotonin.
Eating high protein foods can stimulate the brain, making sleep more difficult.
3 evening snack suggestions:
1. Cereal with milk
2. Peanut butter on toast
3. Cheese and crackers
If you find any particular foods or drinks help you sleep, please let me know - the comments form is below, as usual.
